Hemadsorption by Coronavirus Strain OC43

OC43 virus-infected BS-C-1, rhesus MK, HEK, and HDCS WI38 cell cultures were found to hemadsorb rat and mouse erythrocytes. The hemadsorption technique provided a simple method for performing OC43 virus neutralization tests with both human and animal sera.
